Today’s security checkpoints usually incorporate a suite of security technologies designed to collectively maximize screening and detection capabilities. Our security checkpoint training course was designed to teach operators various techniques to maximize efficiency of security checkpoint technologies. A skilled operator makes all the difference when it comes to stopping potential threats. Our students will learn how xray machines and metal detectors really work and how they can be defeated, how to select and use handheld metal detectors to perform pinpoint searches, how to use advanced x-ray image analysis techniques to improve screening, and ways to be more aware of behaviors that might signal a threat.
American Innovations courses includes hands on exercises, role playing with scenarios designed to improve observation skills, recognition of threats, and techniques to enhance xray screening equipment efficiency. We use our own training aids which simulate potential threats and improve recognition of the components used to make them.
